🎶 Summer Music Courses

A fun and inspiring way for young people to make music over the holidays! Medway Music Association’s Summer Courses offer something for every age and ability - from playful musical activities for little ones to ensemble playing and music tech for older students.

🎵 Who can come

Open to School Years 1-13 (Ages 5-18)

Complete beginners to experienced young musicians - all abilities are welcome!

📍 Location

Courses take place in person at venues across Medway and online via Zoom
(Details provided upon registration)

💷 Cost

• KS1 Course: £10

• Beginner Course: £15

• Instrumental Course: £25

• Online Music Tech: £5 per session

🎶 What’s On

KS1 Music Course

Musical games, fun songs, and percussion — perfect for first experiences with music

​

Beginner Music Course

Bucket drumming, boomwhackers, singing, and body percussion

Great for newcomers and early learners (Beginner - Grade 1)

​

Instrumental Course

For more experienced players (Grade 2 - 8)

Small groups and full ensembles come together for creative rehearsals and fun musicianship activities

Online Music Technology Courses

Create and produce music digitally using BandLab!
 

Beginner Session: Learn to use loops and beats to make your first track
 

Intermediate Session: Build complete pieces with MIDI instruments and effects

🎟️ How to Join

1. Download and complete the Summer Music Courses Application Form

2. Return it to info@medwaymusicassociation.co.uk (or hand it in at the Saturday Music Centre)

3. Once received, MMA will confirm your place and send payment details.
   ​

Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
