🎵 Open to Ages 11-18
Medway Youth Orchestra (MYO) is for orchestral instrumentalists working towards Grade 4 standard and above. It provides a supportive environment to develop ensemble skills, perform challenging repertoire, and take part in inspiring concerts.

Rainham Mark Grammar School – Sixth Form Block
Pump Lane, Rainham, Gillingham, Kent ME8 7AJ
🕘 When
Saturdays, term time
During Terms 3–6, extended Saturday rehearsals take place once per term

💷 Cost
£75 for the whole academic year
Players can take part in as many suitable groups as they like before MYO rehearses
Payment in full or three £25 instalments

🎶 What’s On?
MYO rehearses weekly at MMA’s Saturday Music Centre, bringing together young musicians to play full orchestral repertoire.
The orchestra was launched in 2015 following a successful workshop with The Sixteen, with whom MMA maintains an ongoing partnership, offering unique opportunities for learning and inspiration.
