Medway Youth Orchestra
In line with the latest government advice to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we have taken the decision to postpone the upcoming Medway Youth Orchestra course on 4 April.
Subject to how the situation develops and the government's guidance, our aim is to rearrange this date with a rehearsal day nearer to the MYO concert date in July. We will keep in touch with you with any developments.
We wish you and your families good health at this difficult time and look forward to seeing you again once the situation has improved.
Medway Youth Orchestra was launched in April 2015, after the success of a vocal and orchestral workshop with The Sixteen held in January. The Orchestra meets for five non-residential rehearsals during the year and performs at a number of high profile public concerts. We are delighted to have an ongoing partnership with world-renowned musicians The Sixteen. Medway Youth Orchestra will be supported by professional players and leaders from The Sixteen and their period orchestra.
Applicants must be at Grade 4 standard or above.
