MMA Easter Music Courses
MMA is delighted to announce our Easter Music Courses for 2019.
Our Easter Music Courses include 3 separate courses, catering for Medway’s Young Musicians:
Main Band Course
Medway Junior Youth Orchestra
Medway Intermediate Youth Orchestra
Location: Rainham Mark Grammar School,
Pump Lane, Rainham, Gillingham, Kent, ME8 7AJ.
Main Band Course: 8th – 10th April 2019. 10:00 – 15:00 each day.
MJYO/ MIYO Courses: 11th – 12th April 2019. 10:00 – 16:00 each day.
Easter Main Band Course is open to anyone in Medway aged 7-18 (school years 3-13) who has been learning to play an instrument since the beginning of this academic year. We also welcome members of Music Centres and Medway Ensembles. The course will include opportunities for playing in small instrumental ensembles and a large mixed orchestra. Percussion ensemble, singing and fun general musicianship games and activities will also be included.
We run two orchestral courses for more advanced musicians; Medway Junior Youth Orchestra (Grade 1-3) and Medway Intermediate Youth Orchestra (Grade 3-5). New members are always welcome!

How to Apply:
Application Form: Please complete and return the application form, along with a cheque made payable to Medway Music Association covering the cost of the course fee, as soon as possible or by Saturday 16th March 2019 at the latest to: Sarah Coole C/O 95 Weston Road, Rochester, Kent ME2 3HB.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Entry requirements: Easter Music School is open to anyone in Medway aged 7-18 (school years 3-13) who has been learning to play an instrument since the start of this academic year. We also welcome members of Music Centres and Medway Ensembles and those recommended by their instrumental teacher are encouraged to apply.
Cost: £20 per applicant for the Main Band Course, MJYO & MIYO Courses or £30 for all 5 days
Deadline: Saturday 16th March 2019. Any applications received after the 16th of March 2019 will incur a late charge of £5.
